①With regard to the payment of the basic continuous employment benefits for the elderly to an insured person for whom the day on which the person reached 60 years of age (or, if the person falls under Article 61, paragraph (1), item (i) of the new Employment Insurance Act on that day, the day on which the person ceased to fall under that item) is before the effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

②With regard to the payment of the re-employment benefits for the elderly to former qualified recipients who have become insured persons by taking stable employment before the effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

③With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 61-2 of the new Employment Insurance Act to former qualified recipients who have become insured persons by taking stable employment on or after the effective date, the term "daily amount of wages" in paragraph (1) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with "daily amount of wages that the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employment Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 31 of 2003)".

④The provisions of Article 61-2, paragraph (4) of the new Employment Insurance Act do not apply to a person who has become an insured person by taking stable employment before the effective date.
