With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 57, paragraph (3) of the new Employment Insurance Act to former qualified recipients, former specially qualified recipients and persons who receive payment of the job applicant benefits for day workers of the daily amount under the provisions of Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions, the phrase "the provisions of Article 16" in that paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "the provisions of Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employment Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 54 of 1984)", the phrase "qualified recipient for the basic allowance" with "former qualified recipient under the provisions of that paragraph", the phrase "Articles 16 through 18" with "that paragraph", and the phrase "Article 48 or Article 54, item (ii)" with "Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act".
