Supplementary Provisions, Article 13Transitional Measures Concerning Payment of Child Allowance and the New Special Benefit and Revision of Their Amounts
第十三条（児童手当及び新特例給付の支給及び額の改定に関する経過措置）
If a person set forth in the following items files, during the period from June 1, 2012 to September 30 of that year, a claim for certification under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Child Allowance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 2 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Child Allowance Act") (including the case where it is applied by replacing terms pursuant to Article 17, paragraph (1) of the New Child Allowance Act) or paragraph (2) of that Article, payment of child allowance to that person is to start from the month specified respectively in those items, notwithstanding Article 8, paragraph (2) of the New Child Allowance Act.
次の各号に掲げる者が、平成二十四年六月一日から同年九月三十日までの間に第二条の規定による改正後の児童手当法（以下「新児童手当法」という。）第七条第一項（新児童手当法第十七条第一項において読み替えて適用する場合を含む。）又は第二項の規定による認定の請求をしたときは、その者に対する児童手当の支給は、新児童手当法第八条第二項の規定にかかわらず、それぞれ当該各号に定める月から始める。
A father or mother who has come to satisfy the requirements for payment of child allowance during the period from June 1, 2012 to September 30 of that year, and who, on the day on which the father or mother came to satisfy those requirements for payment, has come to fall under the persons set forth in Article 4, paragraph (1), item (i) of the New Child Allowance Act by reason of the application of paragraph (4) of that Article: the month following the month in which the day on which the person came to fall under the persons set forth in that item falls;
平成二十四年六月一日から同年九月三十日までの間に児童手当の支給要件に該当するに至った者であって、当該支給要件に該当するに至った日において、新児童手当法第四条第四項の規定が適用されることにより同条第一項第一号に掲げる者に該当するに至った父又は母 その者が同号に掲げる者に該当するに至った日の属する月の翌月
A person who has come to satisfy the requirements for payment of child allowance during the period from June 1, 2012 to September 30 of that year, and who, on the day on which the person came to satisfy those requirements for payment, has come to fall under the persons set forth in item (i), (ii), or (iv) of Article 4, paragraph (1) of the New Child Allowance Act by reason of coming to raise a child before completion of lower secondary school as a guardian of a minor, a parent's designee, or a person set forth in item (iv) of that paragraph: the month following the month in which the day on which the person came to fall under the persons set forth in item (i), (ii), or (iv) of that paragraph falls.
