Supplementary Provisions, Article 7Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Code of Criminal Procedure Under the Provisions of Article 2

The provisions of Articles 3 and 4 of the Supplementary Provisions apply mutatis mutandis to a suspect who, pursuant to the provisions of Article 37-2, paragraph (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as amended by the provisions of Article 2, newly becomes able to make the request under that paragraph, or who becomes able to make the request under that paragraph in the case where continued detention is requested. In this case, the phrase "Article 1, item (i) of the Supplementary Provisions" in these provisions is deemed to be replaced with "Article 1, item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions".
