第二条（第三号施行日の前日までの間等の読替え）
During the period from the day on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as "the effective date") until the day before the date on which the provisions set forth in item (iii) of the preceding Article come into effect (referred to as "the item (iii) effective date" in paragraph (3)), the term "Article 121-3" in the table of contents of the Family Register Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as "the new Act") is deemed to be replaced with "Article 121-2".
During the period from the effective date until the day before the date on which the provisions set forth in item (v) of the preceding Article come into effect, the term "the mayor of a designated municipality" in Article 121 of the new Act is deemed to be replaced with "the mayor of a municipality receiving the designation pursuant to the provisions of Article 118, paragraph (1)".
During the period from the item (iii) effective date until the day before the date on which the provisions set forth in item (iv) of the preceding Article come into effect, the term "Article 9, paragraph (3)" in Article 121-3 of the new Act is deemed to be replaced with "Article 45-2, paragraph (1)".
第三号施行日から前条第四号に掲げる規定の施行の日の前日までの間は、新法第百二十一条の三中「第九条第三項」とあるのは、「第四十五条の二第一項」とする。
