第一条（施行期日）

この法律は、昭和六十年一月一日から施行する。

第七条（外国人と婚姻をした者の戸籍の編製に関する経過措置）

この法律の施行前に日本国民と日本国民でない者との婚姻の届出があつた場合の戸籍の編製については、なお従前の例による。

第八条（出生等の届出に関する経過措置）

出生、死亡若しくは帰化の届出又は国籍の留保の意思の表示に係る届出に関する第二条の規定による改正後の戸籍法（以下「新戸籍法」という。）の規定は、この法律の施行前に出生、死亡又は帰化があつた場合において同条の規定による改正前の戸籍法の規定により算定するとしたならばその期間の満了の日が施行日以後となる届出についても適用し、同条の規定による改正前の戸籍法の規定により算定するとしたならばその期間の満了の日が施行日前となる届出については、なお従前の例による。

第九条（国籍の喪失があつた場合の戸籍の届出に関する経過措置）

この法律の施行前に国籍の喪失があつた場合の国籍喪失の届出については、なお従前の例による。

新戸籍法第百六条第一項の規定は、この法律の施行前に外国の国籍を喪失した場合については、適用しない。

外国の国籍をも有していた日本国民でこの法律の施行前にその外国の国籍を喪失したものは、その喪失の届出をすることができる。この場合においては、新戸籍法第百六条第二項の規定を準用する。

第十一条（外国人との婚姻による氏変更に関する経過措置）

この法律の施行前に日本国民でない者と婚姻をした者が新戸籍法第百七条第二項の規定により施行日に氏の変更の届出をすることができる場合においては、その届出の期間は、施行日から六月とする。
