この法律は、公布の日から起算して六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。

第一条の規定による戸籍法の改正に伴う戸籍の改製に関する事務に、市町村長の委託を受けて従事している者又は従事していた者は、その事務に関して知り得た事項をみだりに他人に知らせ、又は不当な目的に使用してはならない。

第一条の規定による改正後の戸籍法第二条から第四条までの規定は、前項の事務について準用する。

前二項に定めるもののほか、第一条の規定による戸籍法の改正に伴う戸籍の改製に関し必要な経過措置は、法務省令で定める。
