Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。

第二条（経過措置）
The provisions of Article 11-2, paragraph (1) as amended by this Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 12, paragraph (2)) also apply to a family register or removed family register in which an entry was made, before this Act comes into effect, based on a false notification or other related action (meaning a notification, a report, an application, a request, entrustment, issuance of a certified copy of a certificate or logbook, or the rendering of a judicial decision; the same applies below), based on a notification or other related action that was made by mistake, or due to an error that the mayor of a municipality made, and in which that entry has been corrected pursuant to the provisions of Article 24, paragraph (2), Article 113, Article 114, or Article 116; provided, however, that this does not apply if the removed family register was removed as a result of the remaking under the proviso to Article 128, paragraph (1) or was removed before that remaking.
この法律による改正後の第十一条の二第一項（第十二条第二項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定は、この法律の施行前に虚偽の届出等（届出、報告、申請、請求若しくは嘱託、証書若しくは航海日誌の謄本又は裁判をいう。以下同じ。）若しくは錯誤による届出等又は市町村長の過誤による記載がされた戸籍又は除かれた戸籍であって、その記載につき第二十四条第二項、第百十三条、第百十四条又は第百十六条の規定によって訂正がされたものについても、適用する。ただし、当該除かれた戸籍が第百二十八条第一項ただし書の規定による改製によって除かれたもの又は当該改製前に除かれたものであるときは、この限りでない。
The provisions of Article 11-2, paragraph (2) as amended by this Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 12, paragraph (2)) also apply to a family register or removed family register in which the mayor of a municipality corrected, added, or deleted any characters when making an entry before this Act comes into effect; provided, however, that this does not apply if the removed family register is one prescribed in the proviso to the preceding paragraph.
この法律による改正後の第十一条の二第二項（第十二条第二項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定は、この法律の施行前に市町村長が記載をするに当たって文字の訂正、追加又は削除をした戸籍又は除かれた戸籍についても、適用する。ただし、当該除かれた戸籍が前項ただし書に規定するものであるときは、この限りでない。
