①The provisions of Article 114 and Article 143, paragraph (2) of the Labor Standards Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as "the new Act" in this Article) apply to a claim for payment of additional monies in the case where a violation prescribed in Article 114 of the new Act occurs on or after the date on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as "the effective date" in this Article), and with regard to a claim for payment of additional monies in the case where a violation prescribed in Article 114 of the Labor Standards Act prior to amendment by this Act occurred before the effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

②The provisions of Article 115 and Article 143, paragraph (3) of the new Act apply to the prescription of the right to claim wages under the provisions of the Labor Standards Act (excluding retirement allowances; the same applies hereinafter in this paragraph) whose payment date arrives on or after the effective date, and with regard to the prescription of the right to claim wages under the provisions of that Act whose payment date arrived before the effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
