第三条
A family register under the provisions of the Old Act is deemed to be a family register under the provisions of the New Act; provided, however, that when ten years have elapsed after the New Act comes into effect, family registers under the provisions of the Old Act must be remade under the New Act, as provided for by Ministry of Justice Order.
旧法の規定による戸籍は、これを新法の規定による戸籍とみなす。ただし、新法施行後十年を経過したときは、旧法の規定による戸籍は、法務省令の定めるところにより、新法によつてこれを改製しなければならない。
A registered domicile designated under the Old Act is deemed to have been designated under the New Act.
旧法によつて定められた本籍は、新法によつて定められたものとみなす。
