Supplementary Provisions, Article 12Transitional Measures Concerning the Amount of Basic Childcare Leave Benefits under the Employment Insurance
第十二条（雇用保険の育児休業基本給付金の額に関する経過措置）
With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 61-4, paragraph (4) of the new Employment Insurance Act to an insured person for whom the day before the day on which the person commenced the leave pertaining to the payment of the basic childcare leave benefits is before the effective date, the term "qualified recipient" in that paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "former qualified recipient prescribed in Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employment Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 31 of 2003; hereinafter referred to as the "amending Act" in this paragraph)", the term "Article 17" with "that Article", and the phrase "of that Article" with "of Article 17 prior to the amendment by Article 1 of the amending Act".
育児休業基本給付金の支給に係る休業を開始した日の前日が施行日前である被保険者に対する新雇用保険法第六十一条の四第四項の規定の適用については、同項中「受給資格者」とあるのは「雇用保険法等の一部を改正する法律（平成十五年法律第三十一号。以下この項において「改正法」という。）附則第三条に規定する旧受給資格者」と、「第十七条」とあるのは「同条」と、「同条の」とあるのは「改正法第一条の規定による改正前の第十七条の」とする。
