Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of April 1, 2001; provided, however, that the provisions listed in the following items come into effect as of the day specified in each of those items:
この法律は、平成十三年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provision amending Article 64, paragraph (1) of the Employment Insurance Act in Article 1: the day of promulgation;
第一条中雇用保険法第六十四条第一項の改正規定 公布の日
the provision amending Article 62, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the Employment Insurance Act in Article 1: October 1, 2000; and
第一条中雇用保険法第六十二条第一項第二号の改正規定 平成十二年十月一日
the provisions amending Article 61-4, paragraph (4), Article 61-5, paragraph (2) and Article 61-7, paragraph (4) of the Employment Insurance Act in Article 1, the provisions amending Article 36, paragraph (4), Article 37, paragraph (2) and Article 38, paragraph (4) of the Mariners Insurance Act in Article 3, and the provisions of Articles 7, 8, 14 and 15 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions amending Article 68-2 and Article 68-3, paragraph (1) of the National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act (Act No. 128 of 1958) in Article 23 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions of Article 24 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions amending Article 70-2 and Article 70-3, paragraph (1) of the Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act (Act No. 152 of 1962) in Article 28 of the Supplementary Provisions, and the provisions of Article 29 of the Supplementary Provisions: January 1, 2001.
