第二条（基本手当の日額等に関する経過措置）
With regard to the daily amount of the basic allowance, the daily amount of wages and the automatic changing of the daily amount of the basic allowance for a qualified recipient of the basic allowance whose day of separation from service pertaining to the recipient qualification is before the date on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as "the effective date") (hereinafter referred to as a "former qualified recipient") and whose first day of receiving payment of the basic allowance based on that recipient qualification is before August 1, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as a "former qualified recipient subject to the old daily amount"), the provisions then in force continue to govern.
受給資格に係る離職の日がこの法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）前である基本手当の受給資格者（以下「旧受給資格者」という。）であって、当該受給資格に基づく基本手当の支給を受ける初日が平成八年八月一日前であるもの（以下「旧日額対象の旧受給資格者」という。）に係る基本手当の日額、賃金日額及び基本手当の日額の自動的変更については、なお従前の例による。
