Supplementary Provisions, Article 6Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. for Ensuring the Soundness and Reliability of the Public Pension System

The provisions of Articles 81-3, 139 and 140 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act prior to its amendment by the provisions of Article 1 of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. for Ensuring the Soundness and Reliability of the Public Pension System, which remain in force pursuant to the provisions of Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act as deemed to be replaced under paragraph (2) of that Article as amended by the provisions of Article 4, apply to childcare/parental leave, etc. prescribed in Article 23-2, paragraph (1) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act that commences on or after the item (iii) Effective Date, and the provisions then in force continue to govern childcare/parental leave, etc. prescribed in that paragraph that commenced before the item (iii) Effective Date.
