Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year and six months from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 4Transitional Measures Accompanying Partial Amendment of the Civil Enforcement Act
第四条（民事執行法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to a civil enforcement case for which a petition was filed before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 22 (limited to the portion pertaining to item (vi)) of the Civil Enforcement Act as amended by the provisions of Article 3 (referred to as the "New Civil Enforcement Act" in the following paragraph).
With regard to an action seeking an enforcement judgment concerning a judicial decision in a domestic relations case of a foreign court that is pending at the time this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 24 of the New Civil Enforcement Act.
この法律の施行の際現に係属している外国裁判所の家事事件における裁判についての執行判決を求める訴えに係る訴訟については、新民事執行法第二十四条の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
