A seizure becomes effective when an order commencing compulsory-auction proceedings is served upon the obligor; provided, however, that if the seizure is registered before the service of the commencement order, the seizure becomes effective at the time of the registration.
差押えの効力は、強制競売の開始決定が債務者に送達された時に生ずる。ただし、差押えの登記がその開始決定の送達前にされたときは、登記がされた時に生ずる。
A seizure does not preclude the obligor from using or making profits from the immovable property in an ordinary way.
