Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2022; provided, however, that the provisions of Article 26 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect on the day of promulgation.
この法律は、平成三十四年四月一日から施行する。ただし、附則第二十六条の規定は、公布の日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 16Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Passport Act
第十六条（旅券法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to a disposition concerning an application for the issuance of a passport that was made before the effective date, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Passport Act as amended by the provisions of the preceding Article, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
施行日前にされた旅券の発給の申請に係る処分については、前条の規定による改正後の旅券法第五条第一項の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 25Transitional Measures Concerning Penal Provisions
第二十五条（罰則に関する経過措置）
With respect to the application of penal provisions to an act committed before the effective date, and to an act committed on or after the effective date in a case where the provisions then in force are to continue to govern under Article 13 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
施行日前にした行為及び附則第十三条の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合における施行日以後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 26Delegation to Cabinet Order
第二十六条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary in connection with the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
