Supplementary Provisions, Article 19Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Hotel Business Act
第十九条（旅館業法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
Within a period not exceeding one year from the date on which the provisions of Article 26 come into effect, until an ordinance of a city with a health center (meaning a city specified by a Cabinet Order based on the provisions of Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Community Health Act; the same applies hereinafter in this Article) or of a special ward based on the provisions of Article 3, paragraph (3), item (iii) of the Hotel Business Act as amended by the provisions of that Article (hereinafter referred to as the "new Hotel Business Act" in this Article) is enacted and brought into effect, the institutions that the prefecture to which the relevant city with a health center or special ward belongs provides for by ordinance based on the provisions of that item are deemed to be institutions that the relevant city with a health center or special ward provides for by ordinance based on the provisions of that item.
Within a period not exceeding one year from the date on which the provisions of Article 26 come into effect, until an ordinance of a city with a health center or of a special ward based on the provisions of Article 4, paragraph (2) of the new Hotel Business Act is enacted and brought into effect, the standards that the prefecture to which the relevant city with a health center or special ward belongs prescribes by ordinance based on the provisions of that paragraph are deemed to be standards that the relevant city with a health center or special ward prescribes by ordinance based on the provisions of that paragraph.
第二十六条の規定の施行の日から起算して一年を超えない期間内において、新旅館業法第四条第二項の規定に基づく保健所を設置する市又は特別区の条例が制定施行されるまでの間は、当該保健所を設置する市又は特別区の属する都道府県が同項の規定に基づき条例で定める基準は、当該保健所を設置する市又は特別区が同項の規定に基づき条例で定める基準とみなす。
Within a period not exceeding one year from the date on which the provisions of Article 26 come into effect, until an ordinance of a city with a health center or of a special ward based on the provisions of Article 5, item (iii) of the new Hotel Business Act is enacted and brought into effect, the grounds that the prefecture to which the relevant city with a health center or special ward belongs prescribes by ordinance based on the provisions of that item are deemed to be grounds that the relevant city with a health center or special ward prescribes by ordinance based on the provisions of that item.
第二十六条の規定の施行の日から起算して一年を超えない期間内において、新旅館業法第五条第三号の規定に基づく保健所を設置する市又は特別区の条例が制定施行されるまでの間は、当該保健所を設置する市又は特別区の属する都道府県が同号の規定に基づき条例で定める事由は、当該保健所を設置する市又は特別区が同号の規定に基づき条例で定める事由とみなす。
