Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding two years from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して二年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Articles 11 and 13 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
the provisions of Article 1 (limited to the provisions amending the table of contents and title of the Food Sanitation Act, the provisions amending the title of Chapter VI of that Act, the provisions adding two Articles before Article 22 in that Chapter, the provisions amending Article 22, paragraphs (1) and (2), Article 24, paragraph (2), item (iii) and Article 58, paragraph (1) of that Act, and the provisions adding one Article after Article 60 of that Act): the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation;
第一条の規定（食品衛生法の食品衛生法目次及び題名の改正規定、同法第六章の章名の改正規定、同章中第二十二条の前に二条を加える改正規定、同法第二十二条第一項及び第二項、第二十四条第二項第三号並びに第五十八条第一項の改正規定並びに同法第六十条の次に一条を加える改正規定に限る。） 公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
the provisions of Article 2, the provisions in Article 3 that amend Article 20 of the Slaughterhouse Act, the provisions in Article 4 that amend Article 17, paragraph (1), item (iv), Article 39, paragraph (2) and Article 40 of the Poultry Slaughtering Business Control and Poultry Meat Inspection Act, and the provisions of Article 8, Articles 15 through 21 and Article 24 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding three years from the date of promulgation.
