こども未来戦略（こどもみらいせんりゃく）

In Article 47 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 47 of 2024, the Children's Future Strategy (こども未来戦略) that the Cabinet decided on 22 December 2023, on which the government bases its efforts to curb the rise in the social security burden ratio (社会保障負担率) and whose 'Acceleration Plan' measures that Article goes on to fund.

平成十三年統合法（へいせいじゅうさんねんとうごうほう）

Short name for Act No. 101 of 2001, the 2001 Act that abolished the law on the mutual aid association for employees of agricultural, forestry and fishery organisations and other laws, to integrate that association's system into Employees' Pension Insurance (厚生年金保険).

旧行革関連特例法（きゅうぎょうかくかんれんとくれいほう）

Short name, in Article 6 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 74 of 1985, for the Act on Reduction of State Subsidies and Other Temporary Special Measures, as Part of Measures to be Urgently Implemented for Advancement of Administrative Reform (Act No. 93 of 1981) as it stood before Article 7 of those supplementary provisions amended it.

割賦販売等の方法（かっぷはんばいとうのほうほう）

In Article 6 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 43 of 1988, the method of installment sales (割賦販売), of loan-affiliated installment sales (ローン提携販売), or of sales involving the intermediation of installment purchases (割賦購入あつせん), as defined in Article 2, paragraphs (1) to (3) of the Installment Sales Act.

Short name for Act No. 101 of 2001, the 2001 Act that abolished the law on the mutual aid association for employees of agricultural, forestry and fishery organisations and other laws, to integrate that association's system into Employees' Pension Insurance (厚生年金保険).

新厚生年金保険法（しんこうせいねんきんほけんほう）

In Article 32 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, that Act as amended by Article 19 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Japan Pension Organization Act (Act No. 109 of 2007); the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare has the Japan Pension Service (機構) carry out the functions under the transitional provisions a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Order (厚生労働省令) lists, in the way its Articles 100-4 to 100-12 provide.

他の公的年金給付（たのこうてきねんきんきゅうふ）

In Article 11 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 82 of 1980, a benefit named by the Cabinet Order (政令) under Article 46, paragraph (5) of this Act as amended by Article 1 of that Act (other than one wholly suspended), which the spouse of a person entitled to an old-age pension or disability pension under this Act can receive.

病床転換支援金等（びょうしょうてんかんしえんきんとう）

The bed conversion support payment (病床転換支援金) and the contribution toward the administrative costs of bed conversion grants (病床転換助成関係事務費拠出金) that insurers — for national health insurance, the prefectures — pay under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People; until the date a Cabinet Order (政令) sets under Article 2 of those supplementary provisions, Article 7 of the supplementary provisions of this Act adds them beside the aid for the old-old, etc. (後期高齢者支援金等) in Article 69 and other provisions of this Act.

特定健康保険組合（とくていけんこうほけんくみあい）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2015, a health insurance society (健康保険組合) as provided in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions of the Health Insurance Act — one the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare has authorized as meeting the requirements of a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Order (厚生労働省令), which former members who would be retired insured persons may join as special retired insured persons (特例退職被保険者); the former rules continue to apply to its contributions for medical care benefits (療養給付費等拠出金) for fiscal 2014 and earlier.

平成十六年改正法（へいせいじゅうろくねんかいせいほう）

Short name, in Article 32, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 34 of 1985 as its table reads, for Act No. 104 of 2004, the 2004 Act partially amending the National Pension Act and other Acts.

平成十三年新会社（へいせいじゅうさんねんしんがいしゃ）

A new company (新会社) as defined in Article 2, paragraph 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 61 of 2001, the 2001 Act amending the Act on Passenger Railway Companies and Japan Freight Railway Company.

比較法人事業税額（ひかくほうじんじぎょうぜいがく）

In Article 8, paragraph 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 4 of 2024, the enterprise tax (事業税) for a business year that a corporation which item 1(b)(1) or (2) of Article 72-2, paragraph 1 of the Local Tax Act as amended by Article 3 of that Act brings under the size-based tax would have to file and pay under Article 72-25, 72-28 or 72-29 of that Act if it were treated as a corporation listed in item 1(b), which pays the income levy (所得割) alone; where its actual enterprise tax for business years beginning from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028 exceeds this amount, part of the excess is deducted.

The day the 2022 Act amending the Code of Civil Procedure and other laws (民事訴訟法等の一部を改正する法律, Act No. 48 of 2022) comes into effect.

障害者等確認書類（しょうがいしゃとうかくにんしょるい）

A paper proving that its holder is a person with a disability or in a similar position (障害者等), of the kind Article 9-2, paragraph (2) of this Act as amended by the 2002 amending law (Act No. 15 of 2002) calls for, which a person aged 65 or over had to have shown when they deposited postal savings if the interest was to stay free of tax.

旧所得税法施行令（きゅうしょとくぜいほうしこうれい）

In Article 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Ministry of Finance Order No. 72 of 2002, the Order for Enforcement of the Income Tax Act as it stood before Article 7 of Cabinet Order No. 363 of 2002, the Cabinet Order (政令) that arranged related Cabinet Orders for the 2002 Act arranging related Acts to develop the securities market through reform of the securities settlement system and other systems (Act No. 65 of 2002), amended it, as kept in force by Article 3, paragraph (1) of that Cabinet Order's supplementary provisions.

ヘッジ対象資産等（へっじたいしょうしさんとう）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 14 of 2000, an asset or liability referred to in Article 61-6, paragraph (1), item (i), or a security held other than for trading referred to in Article 61-7, paragraph (1), of this Act as that Act amended it, held on the first day of the amendment business year (改正事業年度), whose loss a corporation sought to reduce through derivative transactions, etc. (デリバティブ取引等) entered into before that day and not settled by then.
