In Articles 102 to 105 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 107 of 1998, the cases where a provision of this Act as amended by that Act applies with the necessary changes (準用) through Article 17 of the Long Term Credit Bank Act, Article 89 of the Shinkin Bank Act, Article 94 of the Labor Bank Act and Article 6 of the Act on Financial Businesses by Cooperative, each as amended by that Act, as Article 102, paragraph (1) first lists them for Article 13, paragraph (1) of this Act.

The convention on the nomenclature for the classification of goods in customs tariffs (関税率表における物品の分類のための品目表に関する条約), named in the commencement rule of Act No. 80 of 1987 that tied that Act's start to the Harmonized System convention (商品の名称及び分類についての統一システムに関する国際条約).
