第一号施設（だいいちごうしせつ）

In Article 15, paragraph 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則), a specified freight vehicle relay transport facility (特定貨物自動車中継輸送施設) under Article 29-2, item 1 of the Act on Improving the Efficiency of Distribution of Goods, of a kind a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, that a certified freight vehicle relay transport business operator, etc. (認定貨物自動車中継輸送事業者等) newly builds or extends (for an extension, the extended part only); where it is acquired for that operator's relay transport business between the day the Act amending that Act (Act No. 21 of 2026) comes into effect and 31 March 2028, its fixed asset tax (固定資産税) and city planning tax (都市計画税) base for five fiscal years is half its value.

六号施行日（ろくごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item 6 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 4 of 2024 come into effect: the date Act No. 45 of 2024 comes into effect.

第二号新法（だいにごうしんぽう）

This Act as amended by Article 2 of Act No. 60 of 2016.

第三号施行日（だいさんごうしこうび）

1 October 2022, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 66 of 2021 come into effect — among them that Act's amendment of Article 159 of this Act.

第一号施行日（だいいちごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (i) of the supplementary provisions of the 2023 amending law (Act No. 56 of 2023) came into force.

十六号在留者（じゅうろくごうざいりゅうしゃ）

A person who, when Ministry of Justice Order No. 15 of 1990 came into effect on 1 June 1990, was residing in Japan with a status of residence under Article 4, paragraph (1), item (xvi) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act as it stood before Act No. 79 of 1989 amended it, and who fell under an item of Article 2 of this Regulation as it stood before that Order; each is deemed to hold the new status of residence the table sets beside that item.

第一号施行日（だいいちごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (i) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 28 of 2023 came into effect: the day that Act was promulgated (公布), 17 May 2023.

第九号施行日（だいきゅうごうしこうび）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 74 of 2025, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, paragraph (1), item (ix) of those supplementary provisions come into effect.

第五号施行日（だいごごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (v) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 40 of 2020 come into effect: 1 April 2021.

第九号施行日（だいきゅうごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ix) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 40 of 2020 come into effect: 1 April 2023.

第三号施行日（だいさんごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item 3 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 17 of 2019 come into effect — among them the amendment adding Article 121-3 to this Act — a date set by Cabinet Order (政令) within three years of that Act's promulgation (公布, its official publication) on 31 May 2019.

第四号新民法（だいよんごうしんみんぽう）

In Article 10 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 72 of 2018, the Civil Code as amended by Article 2 of that Act.

第六号施行日（だいろくごうしこうび）

In Article 6 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 2019, the date, set by Cabinet Order (政令) within one year of that Act's promulgation (公布), on which the provisions listed in Article 1, item (vi) of those supplementary provisions come into effect.

第二号施行日（だいにごうしこうび）

1 August 2020, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 14 of 2020 come into effect.

第三号施行日（だいさんごうしこうび）

1 October 2022, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 12 of 2022 come into effect.

法律第五十四号（ほうりつだいごじゅうよんごう）

Short name, in Article 5 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 54 of 1991, for that Act itself, the Act Partially Amending the Child Allowance Act (Act No. 54 of 1991).

法律第七十二号（ほうりつだいしちじゅうにごう）

In Article 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 82 of 1980, the 1971 Act partially amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act and other Acts (Act No. 72 of 1971).

In Article 6 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 96 of 1967, the 1965 Act partially amending the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act (Act No. 130 of 1965).

In Article 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 82 of 1980, the 1971 Act partially amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act and other Acts (Act No. 72 of 1971).

法律第八十二号（ほうりつだいはちじゅうにごう）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 84 of 1984, the 1980 Act partially amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act and other Acts (Act No. 82 of 1980).
