Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Concerning Working Hours
第三条（労働時間に関する経過措置）
The provisions of Article 32-4 of the Labor Standards Act prior to amendment by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "former Act") remain in force with respect to an agreement under paragraph (1) of that Article (including a resolution, on the matters prescribed in that paragraph, of a working hours reduction promotion committee prescribed in Article 7 of the Act on Temporary Measures for Promoting the Reduction of Working Hours (Act No. 90 of 1992)) that, at the time this Act comes into effect, sets a period that includes March 31, 1999 as the applicable period referred to in item (ii) of that paragraph.
この法律による改正前の労働基準法（以下「旧法」という。）第三十二条の四の規定は、同条第一項の協定（労働時間の短縮の促進に関する臨時措置法（平成四年法律第九十号）第七条に規定する労働時間短縮推進委員会の同項に規定する事項についての決議を含む。）であって、この法律の施行の際同項第二号の対象期間として平成十一年三月三十一日を含む期間を定めているものについては、なおその効力を有する。
