Article 79Compensation for Bereaved Family

第七十九条（遺族補償）

If a worker has died in the course of employment, the employer must pay compensation to the bereaved family equivalent to 1,000 days at the average wage.

労働者が業務上死亡した場合においては、使用者は、遺族に対して、平均賃金の千日分の遺族補償を行わなければならない。

The business owner, its managers, and anyone else acting for the owner in matters concerning its workers.

Wages paid in the three months before the triggering event divided by the calendar days in that period, used to compute statutory payments.
