Supplementary Provisions

This Ministerial Order comes into effect as of April 1, 1980.

①The industrial accident insurance rate under Appended Table 1 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Act on the Collection, etc. of Insurance Premiums of Labor Insurance as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "New Rules") is applied as the industrial accident insurance rate forming the basis of the general insurance premium rate to be multiplied by the total wages for all workers employed on or after the day on which this Ministerial Order comes into effect (excluding the general insurance premium rate for the business prescribed in the following paragraph; the same applies in this paragraph) and as the industrial accident insurance rate forming the basis of the Class I special enrollment insurance premium rate to be multiplied by the total amount of the amounts prescribed in Article 21 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Act on the Collection, etc. of Insurance Premiums of Labor Insurance (referred to as the "Rules" in paragraph (3)) for the period on or after that day (excluding the Class I special enrollment insurance premium rate for the business prescribed in the following paragraph; the same applies in this paragraph), and with regard to the industrial accident insurance rate forming the basis of the general insurance premium rate to be multiplied by the total wages for all workers employed before that day and the industrial accident insurance rate forming the basis of the Class I special enrollment insurance premium rate to be multiplied by the total amount of the amounts prescribed in that Article for the period before that day, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

②With regard to the industrial accident insurance rate (including where it forms the basis of the Class I special enrollment insurance premium rate) for a business for which an insurance relation pertaining to industrial accident insurance is actually established at the time this Ministerial Order comes into effect and whose period is scheduled, the provisions then in force continue to govern (including the case where the provisions of Article 2, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Ministerial Order Partially Amending the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Act on the Collection, etc. of Insurance Premiums of Labor Insurance (Order of the Ministry of Labour No. 11 of 1975) are followed for the industrial accident insurance rate for a business, among those businesses, that falls under the business prescribed in that paragraph), notwithstanding Appended Table 1 of the New Rules.

③The Class II special enrollment insurance premium rate under Appended Table 5 of the New Rules is applied as the Class II special enrollment insurance premium rate to be multiplied by the total amount of the amounts prescribed in Article 22 of the Rules for the period on or after the day on which this Ministerial Order comes into effect, and with regard to the Class II special enrollment insurance premium rate to be multiplied by the total amount of the amounts prescribed in that Article for the period before that day, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
