Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date

第一条(施行期日)

This Act comes into effect on June 1, 2000; provided, however, that the provisions of the following Article (excluding paragraph (3)) and Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions (excluding the part that applies mutatis mutandis the provisions of paragraph (3) of the following Article) come into effect on the date of promulgation.

この法律は、平成十二年六月一日から施行する。ただし、次条(第三項を除く。)及び附則第三条(次条第三項の規定を準用する部分を除く。)の規定は、公布の日から施行する。

第二条(認定の請求等に関する経過措置)

A person who is to meet, on June 1, 2000, the requirements for payment of the benefit under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amended Child Allowance Act (hereinafter referred to as the "New Act") may, even before that date, on condition that the person meets those requirements on that date, take the procedures for a claim for certification of that benefit under the provisions of Article 7, paragraph (1) of the New Act (including where it is applied with replacement of terms pursuant to Article 17, paragraph (1) of the New Act; the same applies hereinafter) as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 7, paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act.

平成十二年六月一日において改正後の児童手当法(以下「新法」という。)の給付の支給要件に該当すべき者は、同日前においても、同日にその要件に該当することを条件として、当該給付についてにおいて準用する新法第七条第一項(新法第十七条第一項において読み替えて適用する場合を含む。以下同じ。)の規定による認定の請求の手続をとることができる。

If a person who has followed the procedure under the preceding paragraph meets, on June 1, 2000, the requirements for payment of the benefit under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act, payment of the benefit under to that person begins in that month, notwithstanding Article 8, paragraph (2) of the New Act as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 7, paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act.

前項の手続をとった者が、平成十二年六月一日において、の給付の支給要件に該当しているときは、その者に対するの給付の支給は、において準用する新法第八条第二項の規定にかかわらず、同月から始める。

If a person set forth in the following items makes, by September 30, 2000, a claim for certification under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the New Act as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 7, paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act, payment of the benefit under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act to that person begins in the month specified in the relevant item, notwithstanding Article 8, paragraph (2) of the New Act as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 7, paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act:

次の各号に掲げる者が、平成十二年九月三十日までの間ににおいて準用する新法第七条第一項の規定による認定の請求をしたときは、その者に対するの給付の支給は、において準用する新法第八条第二項の規定にかかわらず、それぞれ当該各号に定める月から始める。

a person who currently meets, on June 1, 2000, the requirements for payment of the benefit under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act: that month;

平成十二年六月一日において現にの給付の支給要件に該当している者 同月

a person who has come to meet the requirements for payment of the benefit under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act during the period from June 1, 2000 to September 30, 2000: the month following the month that includes the day on which that person came to meet the requirements for payment of the benefit under .

平成十二年六月一日から同年九月三十日までの間にの給付の支給要件に該当するに至った者 その者がの給付の支給要件に該当するに至った日の属する月の翌月

Supplementary Provisions, Article 3

第三条

The provisions of the preceding Article apply mutatis mutandis to the application for certification and the payment pertaining to the benefit under Article 8, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the New Act. In this case, the phrase " of the Supplementary Provisions" in the preceding Article is deemed to be replaced with " of the Supplementary Provisions", and " of the Supplementary Provisions" with " of the Supplementary Provisions".

前条の規定は、の給付に係る認定の申請及び支給について準用する。この場合において、前条中「」とあるのは「」と、「」とあるのは「」と読み替えるものとする。
