Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions of Article 1 (excluding the part replacing "May 16, 2003" with "May 16, 2008" in the provisions amending paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act on Temporary Measures concerning Ex-Workers of Armed Forces Stationed in Japan) and the provisions of the following Article through Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect as of March 1, 2004.
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。ただし、第一条の規定（駐留軍関係離職者等臨時措置法附則第三項の改正規定中「平成十五年五月十六日」を「平成二十年五月十六日」に改める部分を除く。）及び次条から附則第五条までの規定は、平成十六年三月一日から施行する。
