この法律は、公布の日から施行する。ただし、第一条中雇用対策法第二十一条の改正規定は、公布の日から起算して六月を経過した日から施行する。

この法律による改正後の雇用対策法第二十一条の規定（離職に係る雇用量の変動に関する部分に限る。）は、同条に規定する雇用量の変動であつて、当該雇用量の変動に係る離職の全部がこの法律の施行（前項ただし書の規定による施行をいう。以下同じ。）の日以後であるものについて適用し、当該雇用量の変動に係る離職の全部又は一部が同日前であるものについては、なお従前の例による。

この法律の施行前にした行為及び前項の規定により従前の例によることとされる雇用量の変動についての届出に係るこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
