To the extent necessary to enforce the provisions of Article 27, paragraph (1) and Article 28, paragraph (1), the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare may, pursuant to the provisions of Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, order an employer to report on the employment status of workers and on other particulars, and may have the ministry personnel enter an employer's place of business in order to ask questions of relevant persons or inspect the employer's books, documents, and other articles.
The personnel who conducts on-site inspections pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph must carry an identification card and present it to the persons concerned.
前項の規定により立入検査をする職員は、その身分を示す証明書を携帯し、関係者に提示しなければならない。
The authority to conduct an on-site inspection pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (1) must not be construed as being granted for the purpose of criminal investigation.
第一項の規定による立入検査の権限は、犯罪捜査のために認められたものと解釈してはならない。
