When a registered comprehensive credit purchase intermediary has discontinued operations in the intermediation of comprehensive credit purchases, it must notify the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of this without delay.

「包括信用購入あつせん」
Giving a user a card or similar means (カード等) — a card, number or code — with which the user can buy goods or rights from particular sellers, or receive services from particular service providers, then paying the seller or provider and collecting the amount from the user later: either by a set date more than two months after the purchase contract, or in amounts worked out at set intervals from the total bought.

A corporation registered in the comprehensive credit purchase intermediary register kept at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry; apart from the bodies Article 35-3-60, paragraph (1), item (iv) refers to, only such a corporation may carry on the intermediation of comprehensive credit purchases (包括信用購入あつせん) as a business.
