Article 115Benefits of the Fund

第百十五条（基金の給付）

A National Pension Fund (hereinafter referred to as a "Fund") is to provide the necessary benefits in connection with the old age of its members, in order to achieve the purpose of Article 1.

国民年金基金（以下「基金」という。）は、第一条の目的を達成するため、加入員の老齢に関して必要な給付を行なうものとする。

National Pension Fund
基金（ききん）
A National Pension Fund (国民年金基金), a corporation that provides its members with benefits for old age (Articles 115 and 117); there are regional funds (地域型基金) and occupation-based funds (職能型基金).

benefit
給付（きゅうふ）
A benefit under this Act: the old-age, disability and survivors' basic pensions, the additional pension, the widow's pension and the lump-sum death payment (Article 15); in Article 28, the other pension benefits (他の年金たる給付) are the other pension benefits under this Act except the additional pension, and pensions under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act not paid for old age.
