Supplementary Provisions, Article 4Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents
第四条（自動車損害賠償保障法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The former council on Automobile Liability Insurance of the Ministry of Finance is to become the council on Automobile Liability Insurance of the Financial Supervisory Agency and continue to exist with its identity maintained.
従前の大蔵省の自動車損害賠償責任保険審議会は、金融監督庁の自動車損害賠償責任保険審議会となり、同一性をもって存続するものとする。
A person who is, at the time this Act comes into effect, a member of the council on Automobile Liability Insurance of the Ministry of Finance is deemed to have been appointed, on the date on which this Act comes into effect, as a member of the council on Automobile Liability Insurance of the Financial Supervisory Agency pursuant to Article 35, paragraph (1) or (2) of the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents as amended by this Act. In this case, notwithstanding paragraph (3) of that Article, the term of office of the person deemed to have been appointed is the same period as the remainder of the term of office as a member of the council on Automobile Liability Insurance of the Ministry of Finance on that date.
この法律の施行の際現に大蔵省の自動車損害賠償責任保険審議会の委員である者は、この法律の施行の日に、この法律による改正後の自動車損害賠償保障法第三十五条第一項又は第二項の規定により、金融監督庁の自動車損害賠償責任保険審議会の委員として任命されたものとみなす。この場合において、その任命されたものとみなされる者の任期は、同条第三項の規定にかかわらず、同日における大蔵省の自動車損害賠償責任保険審議会の委員としての任期の残任期間と同一の期間とする。
