Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date on which the Insurance Business Act (Act No. 105 of 1995) comes into effect.
この法律は、保険業法（平成七年法律第百五号）の施行の日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 5Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents
第五条（自動車損害賠償保障法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
For the purpose of applying the provisions of Article 6 of the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents as amended by the provisions of Article 10, the non-life insurance companies and foreign non-life insurance companies, etc. prescribed in Article 6 of that Act are to include persons who are deemed to have obtained a non-life insurance business license under Article 3, paragraph (5) of the Insurance Business Act or a foreign non-life insurance business license under Article 185, paragraph (5) of that Act pursuant to Article 3 or Article 72 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Insurance Business Act.
第十条の規定による改正後の自動車損害賠償保障法第六条の規定の適用については、同条に規定する損害保険会社及び外国損害保険会社等には、保険業法附則第三条又は第七十二条の規定により保険業法第三条第五項の損害保険業免許又は同法第百八十五条第五項の外国損害保険業免許を受けたものとみなされる者を含むものとする。
The provisions of Articles 26-2 and 28, paragraph (3) of the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents as amended by the provisions of Article 10 apply where a rating organization makes a notification under Article 10, paragraph (1) of the New Rating Organization Act on or after the Effective Date, and the provisions then in force continue to govern where a rating organization applied for approval under Article 10, paragraph (2) of the Former Rating Organization Act before the Effective Date.
第十条の規定による改正後の自動車損害賠償保障法第二十六条の二及び第二十八条第三項の規定は、施行日以後に料率団体が新料率団体法第十条第一項の規定による届出をする場合について適用し、施行日前に料率団体が旧料率団体法第十条第二項の規定により認可を申請した場合については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 6Transitional Measures Concerning the Application of Penal Provisions
第六条（罰則の適用に関する経過措置）
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before the Effective Date and to acts committed on or after the Effective Date in connection with matters that are to continue to be governed by the provisions then in force pursuant to the provisions of these Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
施行日前にした行為及びこの附則の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる事項に係る施行日以後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 7Delegation to Cabinet Order
第七条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in Article 2 through the preceding Article of the Supplementary Provisions, the transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
附則第二条から前条までに定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
