Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date on which the Act for Establishment of the Disaster Management Agency (Act No. 61 of 2026) comes into effect; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following item come into effect as of the date specified in that item:
この法律は、防災庁設置法（令和八年法律第六十一号）の施行の日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

第八条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in Article 2 through the preceding Article of the Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
附則第二条から前条までに定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
