Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one month from the date of promulgation, and the provisions of Article 49 of the Public Offices Election Act (Act No. 100 of 1950) as amended by this Act apply to elections for which the date is publicly notified or announced after the day on which three months have elapsed from the date of enforcement of this Act.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一箇月をこえない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行し、この法律による改正後の公職選挙法（昭和二十五年法律第百号）第四十九条の規定は、この法律の施行の日から起算して三箇月を経過した日後にその期日が公示され、又は告示される選挙から適用する。
