A facility covered by long-term care insurance (介護保険施設), a specified facility (特定施設) or a nursing home for the elderly (養護老人ホーム) under Article 20-4 of the Act on Social Welfare for the Elderly: the facilities for which Article 13 keeps a person who moves their address by entering one insured by the municipality (市町村) where they lived before.

改正法
Short name, used in this Cabinet Order (政令) from Article 16 on, for the 2009 Act (Act No. 79 of 2009) amending the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, inter alia, those who have lost Japanese Nationality pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan, which came into effect on 9 July 2012; this Cabinet Order was made for that Act's coming into effect.
指定事業者
A person the mayor of a municipality designates, under Article 115-45-3, paragraph (1), to run category 1 projects (第一号事業) — home-visit, day-service and daily-life support projects and preventive care management for insured in-home persons requiring support and similar insured persons (居宅要支援被保険者等) — at a business office covered by the designation, for whose use the municipality pays category 1 project payments (第一号事業支給費).
Conduct by a business operator that breaches Article 5 through a representation misleadingly presenting goods or services as markedly better in quality or other content, or markedly more favourable in price or other terms of trade (a breach through a representation under item (iii) of that Article is excluded); Article 8 provides an administrative monetary penalty (課徴金) for it.
特定投資家向け有価証券
Securities whose solicitation for acquisition was one only for professional investors (特定投資家向け取得勧誘), or whose solicitation for selling, etc. was one only for professional investors; securities of the same kind from the same issuer as a Cabinet Office Order (内閣府令) sets, and specified listed securities (特定上場有価証券) and securities a Cabinet Order (政令) specifies as circulating similarly — other than securities under any item of Article 24, paragraph (1) and securities a Cabinet Order specifies as unlikely to be held by many professional investors.
In Article 90-5, the settlement, or the exercise, abandonment or transfer, that Article 224-5, paragraph (2) of the Income Tax Act sets for each kind of futures transaction (先物取引): settling a commodity or financial derivatives transaction other than by delivery of the commodity or financial instrument, or exercising, abandoning or transferring the securities in Article 2, paragraph (1), item (xix) of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.
Any of the expropriations, purchases, replotting dispositions (換地処分), rights conversions (権利変換), acquisitions or extinguishments of assets described in the items of the paragraph that coins the term — Article 33, paragraph (1) for individuals, Article 64, paragraph (1) for corporations.

In Article 33, the acts its paragraph (3) lists: market derivatives transactions (市場デリバティブ取引) and the intermediation, brokerage or agency in them (or in entrusting them) listed in Article 2, paragraph (8), items (ii) and (iii); over-the-counter derivatives transactions, etc. (店頭デリバティブ取引等); and foreign market derivatives transactions (外国市場デリバティブ取引) together with the same acts in relation to them.
A subsidiary company that a bank holding company (銀行持株会社) may have under Article 52-23-2, paragraph (1) despite Article 52-23, paragraph (1), being a company of a kind that paragraph lists, such as one engaged exclusively in services of a special subsidiary company (特例子会社対象業務); a subsidiary of the holding company's subsidiary bank does not count.
The date for investigating bankruptcy claims (破産債権) that the court sets under Article 31, paragraph (1), item (iii) when it makes the order commencing bankruptcy proceedings, where it has the claims investigated on a date under Article 116, paragraph (2) rather than in writing within a period.
登録包括信用購入あつせん業者
A corporation registered in the comprehensive credit purchase intermediary register kept at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry; apart from the bodies Article 35-3-60, paragraph (1), item (iv) refers to, only such a corporation may carry on the intermediation of comprehensive credit purchases (包括信用購入あつせん) as a business.
Property other than money that subscribers for shares for subscription contribute in place of money, as the subscription requirements provide, whose value the company must generally have checked by an inspector (検査役) the court appoints.
