支配関係（しはいかんけい）

A relationship, as a Cabinet Order (政令) specifies, in which a company directly or indirectly holds shares or capital contributions exceeding 50 percent of the total number or amount of another corporation's issued shares or capital contributions (not counting the shares that other corporation holds in itself).
