旧法業務（きゅうほうぎょうむ）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 41 of 1987, work corresponding to the work of setting up and running the vocational centers (職業センターの設置運営業務) that the Employment Promotion Corporation (雇用促進事業団) had carried out under Article 19, paragraph (1) of Act No. 116 of 1961 (雇用促進事業団法, the law on the Employment Promotion Corporation), as it stood before Article 21 of those supplementary provisions amended it.

旧設置法（きゅうせっちほう）

Short name, in Article 2 of the supplementary provisions of Act No. 26 of 2008, for the Act establishing the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (国土交通省設置法, Act No. 100 of 1999) as it stood before Article 1 of Act No. 26 of 2008 amended it.

現入所施設（げんにゅうしょしせつ）

In Article 7 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 77 of 2005, the small-scale facility covered by public aid providing long-term care to the elderly (小規模介護老人福祉施設, one with a capacity of 29 or fewer) in which the insured person now lives.

In Article 37 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 77 of 2005, the small-scale facility covered by public aid providing long-term care to the elderly (小規模介護老人福祉施設) in which the insured person is now living.

不整合期間（ふせいごうきかん）

In Articles 9-4-2 and 9-4-6 of the supplementary provisions (附則), time recorded as premium-paid time as a category 3 insured person (第三号被保険者) between April 1986 and the month before the item (ii) provisions of Act No. 63 of 2013 came into effect (other than periods a Cabinet Order (政令) excludes), whose record was later corrected under Article 14 to time as a category 1 insured person (第一号被保険者).

新全国計画（しんぜんこくけいかく）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2015, the national plan for the optimization of medical expenses (全国医療費適正化計画) that the State is to draw up promptly on or after 1 April 2016, when the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ii) of those supplementary provisions came into effect, under the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People as amended by Article 9 of that Act.

旧景品表示法（きゅうけいひんひょうじほう）

This Act as it stood before Article 12 of Act No. 49 of 2009 amended it.

旧介護保険法（きゅうかいごほけんほう）

In Article 130-2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2006, the Long-Term Care Insurance Act (Act No. 123 of 1997) as it stood before Article 26 of that Act amended it, which, with the related former provisions of other laws, stayed in force until 31 March 2024 for long-term care sanatorium medical facilities (介護療養型医療施設) designated when Article 26 came into effect.

旧特別保護法（きゅうとくべつほごほう）

Short name for Act No. 91 of 1955, the Act giving special protection for silicosis (けい肺) and traumatic spinal cord injury (外傷性せき髄障害), which Article 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 29 of 1960 abolished.

旧介護保険法（きゅうかいごほけんほう）

In Article 130-2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act Partially Amending the Health Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 83 of 2006), the Long-Term Care Insurance Act (Act No. 123 of 1997) as it stood before Article 26 of that Act amended it; it and the former provisions of the other laws that Article lists remained in force until 31 March 2024 for long-term care sanatorium medical facilities (介護療養型医療施設) designated under Article 48, paragraph (1), item (iii) of that former Act when Article 26 came into effect.

改正前国保法（かいせいまえこくほほう）

This Act as it stood before Article 1 of Act No. 35 of 2010 amended it.

従前の権利者（じゅうぜんのけんりしゃ）

In Article 15-8, paragraph 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則), a person listed in Article 73, paragraph 1, item 2 or Article 118-7, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Urban Renewal Act who, in an urban redevelopment project (市街地再開発事業), is given part of a facility building (施設建築物) in return for building land, a leasehold right (借地権) or a building.

二年四月新法（にねんしがつしんぽう）

The Local Tax Act as amended by the provisions listed in Article 1, item 7 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 3 of 2018, which come into effect on 1 April 2020.

In Article 12 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 1973, a corporation's first business year beginning on or after 1 April 1973, used to work out its reserve for price fluctuations (価格変動準備金).

平成七年新法（へいせいしちねんしんぽう）

Short name, in Article 6(11) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 22 of 1994, for the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation (Act No. 26 of 1957) as amended by the Act Partially Amending the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation (Act No. 55 of 1995).

旧基盤強化法（きゅうきばんきょうかほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 4 of 2022, the Act on Promotion of Improvement of Agricultural Management Foundation as it stood before Article 1 of Act No. 56 of 2022, which those supplementary provisions call 基盤強化法等改正法 (the Act amending it and other laws), amended it.

新特別会計法（しんとくべつかいけいほう）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2001, the Act on the special account for the government's automobile accident compensation program (自動車損害賠償保障事業特別会計法), formerly the Act on the special account for automobile liability reinsurance (自動車損害賠償責任再保険特別会計法), as amended by Article 2 of Act No. 83 of 2001.

旧法二輪免許（きゅうほうにりんめんきょ）

The motorcycle license (自動二輪車免許) of Article 84, paragraph (3) of the Road Traffic Act as it stood before Act No. 74 of 1995 amended it, which Article 2, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) deems to be a large motorcycle license (大型自動二輪車免許), or, in the cases its items (ii) and (iii) list, a standard motorcycle license (普通自動二輪車免許).

旧法大型免許（きゅうほうおおがためんきょ）

The large motor vehicle license (大型自動車免許) of Article 84, paragraph (3) of the Road Traffic Act as it stood before Article 4 of Act No. 90 of 2004 amended it, which Article 6, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) deems to be a large motor vehicle license (大型免許) under the new wording.
