Article 94-2Designation, etc. of Designated Motor Vehicle Maintenance Business
第九十四条の二（指定自動車整備事業の指定等）
Upon application by a motor vehicle specified maintenance business operator, the Director of a District Transport Bureau may designate a designated motor vehicle maintenance business for a place of business that has received certification of a motor vehicle specified maintenance business and that is found to have, with respect to the maintenance of motor vehicles, facilities, technology and a management organization conforming to the standards prescribed by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism under paragraph (1) of the preceding Article, and in addition to have facilities for the inspection of motor vehicles conforming to the standards prescribed by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and to reliably appoint motor vehicle inspectors under Article 94-4, paragraph (1) and have them examine the inspection and maintenance of motor vehicles under Article 94-5, paragraph (1).
地方運輸局長は、自動車特定整備事業者の申請により、自動車特定整備事業の認証を受けた事業場であつて、自動車の整備について前条第一項の国土交通省令で定める基準に適合する設備、技術及び管理組織を有するほか、国土交通省令で定める基準に適合する自動車の検査の設備を有し、かつ、確実に第九十四条の四第一項の自動車検査員を選任して第九十四条の五第一項の自動車の点検及び整備について検査をさせると認められるものについて、指定自動車整備事業の指定をすることができる。
Article 78, paragraphs (2) through (4) and Article 80, paragraph (1) (limited to the portion relating to item (ii), (b) through (d)) apply mutatis mutandis to the designation under the preceding paragraph. In this case, the phrase "certification of a motor vehicle specified maintenance business pursuant to Article 93" in item (ii), (b) of that paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "designation pursuant to Article 94-8, paragraph (1)", and the phrase "that certification" is deemed to be replaced with "that designation".
第七十八条第二項から第四項まで及び第八十条第一項（第二号ロからニまでに係る部分に限る。）の規定は、前項の指定について準用する。この場合において、同号ロ中「第九十三条の規定による自動車特定整備事業の認証」とあるのは「第九十四条の八第一項の規定による指定」と、「当該認証」とあるのは「当該指定」と読み替えるものとする。
In applying the provisions of paragraph (1), facilities for the inspection of motor vehicles used for two or more places of business of motor vehicle specified maintenance businesses may, if they meet the requirements prescribed by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism with respect to the method of management, location and other matters, be deemed to be facilities for the inspection of motor vehicles belonging to each of those two or more places of business.
