On finding it to be necessary to do so in connection with the operation of ITARDA's activities, the National Public Safety Commission may have ITARDA provide the necessary reporting about its activities, and may a National Police Agency official enter its office to inspect the status of its activities or its books, documents, or other articles.
国家公安委員会は、分析センターの事業の運営に関し必要があると認めるときは、分析センターに対し、その事業に関し必要な報告をさせ、又は警察庁の職員に分析センターの事務所に立ち入り、事業の状況若しくは帳簿、書類その他の物件を検査させることができる。
Officials conducting on-site inspections pursuant to the preceding paragraph must carry identification and present it at the request of a relevant person.
前項の規定により立入検査をする職員は、その身分を示す証票を携帯し、関係者の請求があるときは、これを提示しなければならない。
The authority for an on-site inspection under paragraph (1) must not be construed as authorizing a criminal investigation.
第一項の規定による立入検査の権限は、犯罪捜査のために認められたものと解してはならない。
