At the application of a general incorporated association or general incorporated foundation that aims to contribute to the safety and fluidity of road traffic by carrying out investigations, research, and other activities that help prevent traffic accidents and lessen the damage they cause, and which is found to be able to carry out the operations prescribed in the following Article in a proper and reliable manner, the National Public Safety Commission may designate a maximum of one such association or foundation nationwide as the Institute for Traffic Accident Research and Data Analysis (hereinafter referred to in this Chapter as "ITARDA").
Upon conferring the designation under the preceding paragraph, the National Public Safety Commission must issue public notice of the name and address of ITARDA and of the localities of its offices.
Before changing its name or address or the locality of its offices, ITARDA must notify the National Public Safety Commission of this.
分析センターは、その名称、住所又は事務所の所在地を変更しようとするときは、あらかじめ、その旨を国家公安委員会に届け出なければならない。
Upon being notified as under the preceding paragraph, the National Public Safety Commission must issue public notice of this.
国家公安委員会は、前項の規定による届出があつたときは、その旨を公示しなければならない。
