Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date

This Cabinet Order comes into effect on the date of enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Residential Basic Book Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Amending Act") (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"); provided, however, that the provisions amending by deleting Article 2, paragraphs (2) and (3), the provisions amending Article 6-2 (excluding the part replacing the caption of that Article, the part replacing "Article 7, item (xiii)" with "Article 7, item (xiv)", and the part replacing "Article 12, paragraph (1) of" with "Article 12, paragraph (1) or (2) of"), the provisions amending Article 14, the provisions amending Article 21 (limited to the part replacing "Article 2, paragraphs (1) and (2), and" with "Article 2 and", the part replacing "in Article 2, paragraph (1)" with "in Article 2", and the part deleting ", and the phrase 'affairs concerning residents' in paragraph (2) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with 'affairs concerning persons whose registered domicile is within the area'"), the provisions amending Article 31, paragraph (1) (limited to the part replacing "Articles 10 through 12" with "Article 10, Article 11 of the Act (excluding the part of paragraph (1) concerning the basic resident register kept by a city), and Article 12 of the Act"), the provisions adding the following after the row for Article 9, paragraph (2) in the table in Article 31, paragraph (2) (limited to the part pertaining to the row for Article 11, paragraph (1) in that table), the provisions adding the following after the row for Article 17-2, paragraph (1) in that table (limited to the part pertaining to the row for Article 30-7, paragraph (1) and the row for Article 30-31, paragraph (2) in that table), the provisions adding the following to that table, and the provisions amending Article 32, paragraph (1) (limited to the part deleting ", Article 2, paragraph (3)"), and the provisions of Article 3, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions (excluding the part pertaining to Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Amending Act), come into effect on the date of promulgation.
