Taking into consideration the state of reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake and other circumstances, the government is to review the approach to securing financial resources for the measures to be implemented, during the period from fiscal 2026 until the Reconstruction Agency is abolished pursuant to the provisions of Article 21 of the Act for Establishment of the Reconstruction Agency (Act No. 125 of 2011), based on the basic principles prescribed in Article 2 of the Basic Act on Reconstruction in Response to the Great East Japan Earthquake (Act No. 76 of 2011), and is to take the necessary measures based on the results.
