This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2021; provided, however, that the provisions in Article 3 amending Article 48-2, paragraph (1) of the Act on Special Measures for the Reconstruction and Revitalization of Fukushima, amending Article 48-3, paragraph (7) of that Act, amending Article 48-5, paragraph (3) of that Act, amending Article 48-6, paragraph (1) of that Act, amending Article 48-8 of that Act (including its heading), amending Article 48-10, paragraph (3) of that Act, amending Article 48-12 of that Act, amending Article 50 of that Act, amending Article 53 of that Act, adding one Article after Article 59 of that Act, deleting the heading of Article 76 of that Act and adding a heading before that Article, amending that Article, adding one Article after that Article, amending Article 80 of that Act, adding one Article after Article 88 of that Act, and adding a Section title and 12 Articles after Article 89 in Chapter VI of that Act (limited to the part adding 12 Articles), the provisions in Article 4 adding one item to Article 72, paragraph (3) of the Act on Special Measures for Securing the Financial Resources Necessary to Implement Measures for Reconstruction following the Great East Japan Earthquake, the provisions in Article 5 deleting the heading of Article 12-2 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act on Special Accounts and adding a heading before that Article, amending that Article, renumbering Article 12-3 of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act as Article 12-4 of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act, and adding one Article after Article 12-2 of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act, and the provisions of Articles 9, 10, 18, 19 and 25 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect on the date of promulgation.

Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary in connection with the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
