Supplementary Provisions, Article 131

第百三十一条

A medical institution work environment evaluation center is to carry out the following operations:

医療機関勤務環境評価センターは、次に掲げる業務を行うものとする。

conducting an evaluation, at the request of the administrator of a hospital or clinic, of the status of initiatives for shortening the working hours of physicians working at the hospital or clinic and other matters specified by an Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare;

病院又は診療所の管理者からの求めに応じ、当該病院又は診療所に勤務する医師の労働時間の短縮のための取組の状況その他厚生労働省令で定める事項について評価を行うこと。

providing the necessary advice and guidance to the administrator of a hospital or clinic concerning initiatives for shortening the working hours of physicians at the hospital or clinic; and

病院又は診療所における医師の労働時間の短縮のための取組について、病院又は診療所の管理者に対し、必要な助言及び指導を行うこと。

in addition to what is listed in the preceding two items, conducting operations for promoting the shortening of the working hours of physicians at hospitals or clinics so as to contribute to the efficient provision of high-quality and appropriate medical care by physicians.

前二号に掲げるもののほか、医師による良質かつ適切な医療の効率的な提供に資するよう、病院又は診療所における医師の労働時間の短縮を促進するための業務を行うこと。

In carrying out the operations listed in each item of the preceding paragraph, a medical institution work environment evaluation center must take into account the guidelines referred to in Article 105 of the Supplementary Provisions.

医療機関勤務環境評価センターは、前項各号に掲げる業務を行うに当たつては、第百五条の指針を勘案しなければならない。
