第三条（経過措置）
A person that, at the time this Act comes into effect, is licensed as referred to in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Hotel Business Act prior to its amendment by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "former Hotel Business Act") and is running the business of operating a hotel prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (2) of the former Hotel Business Act or the business of operating an inn prescribed in paragraph (3) of that Article is deemed to be a person that is licensed as referred to in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Hotel Business Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "new Hotel Business Act") and is running the business of operating an inn or hotel prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (2) of the new Hotel Business Act.
この法律の施行の際現にこの法律による改正前の旅館業法（以下「旧旅館業法」という。）第三条第一項の許可を受けて旧旅館業法第二条第二項に規定するホテル営業又は同条第三項に規定する旅館営業を経営している者は、この法律による改正後の旅館業法（以下「新旅館業法」という。）第三条第一項の許可を受けて新旅館業法第二条第二項に規定する旅館・ホテル営業を営む者とみなす。
