Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Concerning Registered Conformity Assessment Bodies
第二条（登録検査機関に関する経過措置）
A person who, at the time of enforcement of the provisions listed in item (iii) of the preceding Article, has been designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare pursuant to the provisions of Article 14, paragraph (1) or Article 15, paragraphs (1) through (3) of the Food Sanitation Act prior to amendment by the provisions of Article 2 (referred to as the "Former Food Sanitation Act" in the following Article through Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions) is deemed to be a registered conformity assessment body that has obtained a registration from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare pursuant to the provisions of Article 33, paragraph (1) of the Food Sanitation Act after amendment by the provisions of Article 2 (hereinafter referred to in this Article, the following Article, Article 5, Article 10, paragraph (3), item (i), and Article 11 of the Supplementary Provisions as the "New Food Sanitation Act").
A person deemed to be a registered conformity assessment body pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph must file an application for the approval referred to in Article 37, paragraph (1) of the New Food Sanitation Act within three months after the date of enforcement of the provisions listed in item (iii) of the preceding Article.
前項の規定により登録検査機関とみなされた者は、前条第三号に掲げる規定の施行の日から三月以内に、新食品衛生法第三十七条第一項の認可の申請をしなければならない。
A person referred to in the preceding paragraph may conduct the inspections under Article 25, paragraph (1) or Article 26, paragraphs (1) through (3) of the New Food Sanitation Act under the previous conditions, from the date of enforcement of the amending provisions listed in item (iii) of the preceding Article until a disposition is made on the approval based on the application under the preceding paragraph.
前項の者は、前条第三号に掲げる改正規定の施行の日から同項の申請に基づく認可に関する処分があるまでの間は、従前の条件で新食品衛生法第二十五条第一項又は第二十六条第一項から第三項までの検査を行うことができる。
