The provisions of this Code concerning the examination of the parties themselves apply mutatis mutandis with regard to a legal representative who represents a party in litigation; provided, however, that this does not preclude the examination of the parties themselves.
この法律中当事者本人の尋問に関する規定は、訴訟において当事者を代表する法定代理人について準用する。ただし、当事者本人を尋問することを妨げない。
