第一条（施行期日等）
This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。
The provisions of Article 7, paragraphs (1) and (4) and Article 8, paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Child Allowance Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "New Act") apply as of April 1, 2004.
この法律による改正後の児童手当法（以下「新法」という。）附則第七条第一項及び第四項並びに第八条第四項の規定は、平成十六年四月一日から適用する。
