Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2014.
この法律は、平成二十六年四月一日から施行する。

第十四条（家事事件手続法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
A ruling that has become final and binding for a change in the order among custodians or the appointment of a custodian pursuant to the proviso to Article 20, paragraph (2) of the Former Act or item (iv) of that paragraph (limited to such a final and binding ruling in the case where, at the time of the enforcement of this Act, a treatment case prescribed in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Former Medical Treatment and Supervision Act (referred to simply as a "treatment case" in this Article and the following Article) in which a person with a mental disorder prescribed in Article 5 of the Former Act (referred to simply as a "person with a mental disorder" in this Article and the following Article) is the covered person prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (3) of the Former Medical Treatment and Supervision Act (referred to simply as the "covered person" in the following Article) is currently pending, or medical care for the person with a mental disorder under the Former Medical Treatment and Supervision Act has not ended) is deemed to be a ruling that has become final and binding for a change in the order among custodians or the appointment of a custodian pursuant to the proviso to Article 23-2, paragraph (2) of the New Medical Treatment and Supervision Act or item (iv) of that paragraph.
旧法第二十条第二項ただし書又は同項第四号の規定による保護者の順位の変更又は保護者の選任の確定した審判（この法律の施行の際、旧法第五条に規定する精神障害者（以下この条及び次条において単に「精神障害者」という。）を旧医療観察法第二条第三項に規定する対象者（次条において単に「対象者」という。）とする旧医療観察法第三条第一項に規定する処遇事件（次条において単に「処遇事件」という。）が現に係属し、又は精神障害者に対する旧医療観察法による医療が終了していない場合における当該確定した審判に限る。）は、新医療観察法第二十三条の二第二項ただし書又は同項第四号の規定による保護者の順位の変更又は保護者の選任の確定した審判とみなす。

第十五条
A petition for a change in the order among custodians or the appointment of a custodian pursuant to the proviso to Article 20, paragraph (2) of the Former Act or item (iv) of that paragraph (limited to such a petition in the case where, at the time of the enforcement of this Act, a treatment case in which a person with a mental disorder is the covered person is currently pending, or medical care for the person with a mental disorder under the Former Medical Treatment and Supervision Act has not ended, and excluding a petition for which the ruling concerned became final and binding before the enforcement of this Act) is deemed to be a petition for a change in the order among custodians or the appointment of a custodian pursuant to the proviso to Article 23-2, paragraph (2) of the New Medical Treatment and Supervision Act or item (iv) of that paragraph.
